Carbon Dioxide Emission Equivalent Analysis of Water Resource Behaviors: Determination and Application of CEEA Function Table

To achieve the global temperature control target under background of climate warming, it is necessary to establish a systematic carbon dioxide (CO2) emission accounting method system in field water resources as soon possible. In this study, equivalent analysis (CEEA) for different resource behaviors (WRBs) proposed from four dimensions development, allocation, utilization, and protection, function table CEEA (FT-CEEA) WRBs constructed. The FT-CEEA includes formulae 16 aspects categories protection. applied 31 provinces China. results reveal that: (1) There are significant spatial differences (CEE) China influence various factors such supply structure natural conditions. (2) Reservoir storage, tap wastewater treatment main contributors CEE protection behaviors, respectively. (3) utilization behavior category has most CO2 absorption effects, industrial domestic sources effects. (4) overall effect greater than effect.
